Big fish ventures’ founder Mr.Umang Tewari forayed into the hospitality industry in the year 2002 and started efforts to change the face of Delhi’s dine out culture and pioneered innovative concepts of casual dining and hang out café experiences. Umang founded Big Fish Ventures in 2015 and consolidated all operations under one investment vehicle. The company firmly believes in creating innovative concept based dining outlets to give rich and unique experience to its customers. The company comprises of various outlets in the capital and has plans to expand to other cities in India and overseas. Big fish caters to café dining and hang out segment of the market and aims at delivering truly unforgettable eclectic culinary experience to guests from its repertoire of award-winning outlets.

We hand over leftover food on a daily basis to an NGO which further distributes it to needy people. We also donate old uniforms of our staff that are no longer in use to an NGO.

He is one of the people responsible for making Delhi, a culinary heaven with his utterly popular joints- The Vault Cafe, Garam Dharam, OTB Cafe (Out Of The Box), Raas, etc. Umang is very passionate about his work and has incubated back to back successful ventures.

Umang has done his MBA from UK, where he worked in a cafe to gain experience of conceptualsing and operating hospitality ventures. Being in the industry for some time, Umang is well aware of what will click with customers and seeing Umang’s success, there seem to be no misses!

He is in the process of conceptualising new destinations like Public Connection, OMG : Oh My God, Three Peg Down, BandStand Bistro & Bar and The Junkyard Cafe.
